Re-Thinking the End Goal...

I'm starting to now think of where my project is right now, and where I want it to be at, and I'm realizing that it's probably safe to assume that my end product is not going to be able to be done by the end of this school year.

I know I said I was going to make a full fledged animation, and in my head, I planned out this trailer similar to Monty Oum's RWBY trailers. If you don't know what those are, google it dude! Worth it!

These trailers would showcase certain characters and their abilities, as well as any personality or background information that they may have. I realize that this would take some time, and without any actual concrete plan, and pretty amateur 3D modeling and Noob Animating skills, I'm going to need way more time to do that.

So I've decided for the end product of my goal, I'm going to make concepts for Pathfinder Characters, and make them the most interesting or epic characters possible, 3D model them as closely as possible to the idea in my head or jotted down in my notes, and display them like TTRPG miniatures. I might do small little idle animations or whatever feels like something that could add life to the character and make them unique to the world of Alaria.

I will also be constructing landscapes, buildings, and sceneries that would also add to my world of Alaria.

At the end, I will put them in a huge portfolio, and maybe a video presentation showcasing all of my work that I had done so far.

I'm not giving up the idea of doing an animation for these characters, but I think I'm going to need to create the assets and concepts for my world.

It's gonna take a lot of creative thinking and actual work to produce all of what is in my head out for the world to see, and me being a one man team as far as actually producing something that people can see is pretty difficult.

So this is just going to be something that I can without a doubt do, and probably will help me do greater things in the future. Who knows, I might start doing OC commissions like everyone else is doing and make some money from it.

In conclusion, from the immortal words of the Wise DJ Khaled: “You want my advice? Don’t play yourself.”
